MG Destiny Part 16

I believe I can fly (not yet)

Assembly of the wing units for MG Destiny in this review.

I have separated the assembly of the first wing unit into two parts: the smaller fins and the cover (main thrusters?). Not that it makes the whole process any different, just that with less parts in each of the two components' photos, more details can be shown. ^^

Assembling the smaller fins first.

Movement of the fins.

Bling-bling for the hydraulic pipes work out pretty well. ^^

Moving on to the main body of the wing.

Six of the silver pipes painted in Part 3 are completely concealed after snapping up the two covers. ^^;

Linked movement of the smaller fins when the cover is lifted confirmed.
They don't retract automatically when the cover is down though. One needs to push them down manually.

Some more details of the wing here and there.

Repeating the same for the other wing unit.
(Looking at the photos right now, I can't tell which one is on which side already actually. ^^;)

Comparison between the main body and the wings - the massive size when they are expanded is very easy to tell.

Also, assembling the "smaller" weapons before the "bigger" ones in the next review: ^^

Parts for the shield and to complete the beam rifle.

A very small shield it is. ^^;
With just 8 parts for the entire shield, the expand/retract function is very sturdy nonetheless.

The (in)famous anti-ship sword and tragical beam launcher coming up in the next review. ^^
