MG F91 Part 18

Since it's unconventional anyway

All effort on the beam bazooka this time, after the beam rifle and beam sabers in the previous review.

F91's bazooka is somewhat unconventional for me. Most MGs from the Universal Century era that I have use bazooka with solid missile round. F91 would probably the only Gundam with beam-type bazooka instead. Rick Dom uses a beam bazooka as well, but the size of that monster is incomparable to F91 at all. XD

The change from missile round to beam round changes the firing mouth. For the earlier, there's a long hollow leading into the body of the bazooka. In terms of Gunplas, there's no work required for this part. I won't say the same for F91 though.

The firing mouth of the bazooka. The usually hollow point of a bazooka is now a camera len-like part.

Yellow beam from the bazooka as shown on the manual.

Gold would be the most appropriate color to show the feature of yellow beam from the bazooka's mouth I suppose.

Completed by scratching off excess paint from around the parts.

Other minor parts on the magazine clip and body of the bazooka that are also painted in gold.

The targeting sensor is painted in blue using the same normal pen used to paint the visor of the pilot figure.

All the parts for the weapons.

The next review on F91 would be on the last bit of work before the actual assembly. ^^

MG F91 Part 17

The weapons as well

Picking up since the pilot cockpit and moving into the last stage of work on my MG F91. ^^

The easiest bit goes first: the beam sabers - just panel-lining the handle.

Details on the mechanical details of the beam rifle. The targeting sensor is to be painted in white as well.

The little pipes are painted with Gundam Marker Gold and Silver.

The targeting sensor of the rifle is painted with Gundam Marker White, and then panel-lined.

The targeting sensor doesn't come with a foil sticker actually. A little cut-out from the existing foil sticker can solve the problem easily.

A little bit of Gundam Marker Gray for the tail of the beam rifle's casing. Personal preference really, as that part looks like vernier to me. ^^

Completed by panel-lining the "staircases".

Panel-lining on top of the rifle casing.

The more troublesome beam bazooka is next. ^^

1/60 SV-51γ Nora's Unit Part 9

Fly, SV-51γ!

I suppose I'm running out of subtitles to give to my reviews. ^^;

Without any weapons mounted.

Full arms ver.

Equipped with one missile and one micro missile pod/fuel tank combo on each wing.

More images of the Gerwalk mode with the display base next. ^^
