HG 1/144 00 Gundam & O Raiser Part 5

Must get the plane ready before the pilot comes

Starting to assemble my HG 1/144 00 Gundam and O Raiser, starting with the support unit in this posting:

Parts for one of its wings.

Completed

Some details on the rear face of the wing.

A few movable components on the wing.

Joint area painted in Part 4 seems to blend in well with the polycap used there. ^^

Exactly the same parts and assembly method for the other wing.

Both wings completed.

Parts for the tail component of O Raiser.

Foil stickers are used for the white portion on the blue parts.

Tail completed.
The blue part shown here is upside down actually. Fixed very simply by just detaching and reattaching it onto the same place with corrected position.

The interior of the tail component painted in gray provides some contrast to its white armors.

The tail can swing slightly to the left and right.

Parts for the main body.

Painted silver sensor unit.

Main body completed.

Very nice gray and white part separation on the bottom of the body.

Just three major components altogether to form O Raiser.

Slot the wing into the dedicated joint on the side of O Raiser's body and push it downward to fix the combination.

An extra small white part to cover the polycap that will be used for the display stand.

Done for the entire O Raiser.

Just three parts for a very simple display stand.

Thanks to the joints on O Raiser's wing, it can be folded slightly outward for somewhat better display.

A very simple kit this is. All its weapons are meant to be in your imagination XD It's packed with quite a few joints here and there, most which are only useful in 00 Raiser mode. I really like the clever white and gray part separation shown beneath the body. A few minor details are painted before assembly, but how so few parts that can show different colors when combined always amazed me. ^^

Going for 00 Gundam's arms, legs and waist in the next posting.
