1/100 Dynames Part 7

Usual gigantic components

Continuation of 1/100 Gundam Dynames's assembly after the previous posting.

Starting with the Gundam's very unique GN Full Shield:

Parts for the largest plate armors, which will be used to cover the entire body when deployed.

Completed,
Somewhat modest in front, ...

but tons of details on the back. ^^
Those "crosses" and bars that are painted in gray were done in Part 3.

The various painted details.

Two joints on each shield allow the different segments to be folded.

The much simpler side armors. The joint used is a very simple clip-on type.

Parts for the body.

A look at the GN Drive mounted on the back of the Gundam.
Among the four initial Gundams on Ptolemaios, Gundam Dynames and Gundam Exia are the two units with visible GN Drive cones on their back.

Snapping the clear part painted with green highlighter onto the middle of the chest that was painted in glossy black using normal marker.
Shiny result. ^^

Looking at half the body block from the back, the shoulder blocks can bend to the front.

A look at the body module before the chest component comes in.

Completed. ^^
The GN Drive in the middle of the chest is no longer that visible. ^^;

V fins on the top of the chest can be lowered.

Movement of the shoulder blocks.

Shoulder joints can move upward and downward.

With both arms from the previous posting attached, the upper body is now done.

The entire body is now done.

Vertical movement for the waist.

For the "light" configuration, the sniper rifle is mounted onto the right shoulder armor, while one of the plate armors is mounted on the left.

Just the head unit to go on before the whole model is done. ^^

Parts for the head.

Freshly nipped off from the runner for this final assembly, the area around the forehead sensor is painted in gray using Gundam Marker.
Also, the sensor should be in purple it seems. ^^; I'll just go with green since I painted all the other clear parts in that color.

Foil stickers for the eyes and two small pieces near the face.

A look at the Gundam's face before the V-fin is attached.
Given how the sides are completely flat, Gundam Dynames seems to have a very "boxy" head. XD

With the V-fin attached, which will be adjusted upward when the one-piece top part of the helmet comes on later.

Completed.

With the V-fin lowered.
It's a very nice gimmick really. ^^

All done for 1/100 Gundam Dynames. ^^ More images of this completed model in the next posting.
