MG Char's Gelgoog Ver. 2.0 Part 2

Big cups and small cups

Starting to work on MG Char's Gelgoog Ver. 2.0 after the introduction yesterday.

Picking out parts that need a great deal of painting that can be done in a batch to work on first. The very obvious parts that fit such "requirements" are the thrusters - all 11 sets of them. ^^

To make the detailing work very simple for myself, the repetitive line details on the thrusters are done using the black paint with thinner method once used on MG Infinite Justice Gundam

Following the pattern I painted for the same parts of MG Johnny Ridden's Customized High Mobility Type Zaku II Ver. 2.0, the "bars of boxes" on the leg thrusters' connectors are painted in gold.

11 thrusters nozzles to paint: 1 large + 4 small ones for the rear skirt armor, and 1 large + 2 small ones for each leg.
Since the overall design is similar to the same parts on MG Johnny Ridden's Customized High Mobility Type Zaku II Ver. 2.0 as well, I'll paint them in the same scheme as well. ^^

After panel lining the separation between the two sections, the innermost nozzle is hand painted gold using Mr. Metal Color 219 Brass first.

The outer rim is painted red using Mr. Color No. 158 Super Italian Red Gloss.

Reapply panel lines inside the nozzle when the paints have dried to separate between the gold and red areas.
A test of steady hand for 11 times there. ^^;

Finishing off the entire task with repetitive panel lining of the nozzles' body.
At least the parts are gray, as compared to those black ones on MG Johnny Ridden's Customized High Mobility Type Zaku II Ver. 2.0, so I can see the outcome of the panel lines much easily. ^^

I see tiny pipes around the base of the large thruster beneath the feet.

Painted the pipes gold and silver using normal pen.

Panel lining of those tight valleys and painting of the thruster nozzles follow the exact same method done for the leg and rear skirt thrusters.

Finishing off the paint work by swiping a round of red paint on the mouth of the nozzle using Gundam Marker Red to cover up the spilled gold paint from the inner layer.

Painted the fixed hydraulic pipes on the ankle joints gold (using Gundam Marker) and silver (using Pilot Super Color Silver Extra Fine).

More paint work in the next (few) posting(s), I think ^^;
