Super Robot Chogokin Key of Victory Set 1 Part 4 [Final]

"Hikari ni Nare!~"

Limited action poses featuring Super Robot Chogokin GaoGaiGar and Key of Victory Set 1 in this final posting of the latter's review series. ^^

With Goldion Hammer supported using Soul Stage Act 5 Action Support Type for Mechanics Clear Ver.

Thanks to the space provided to both arms to be bent in front of the body by the option manes, GaoGaiGar can show off this awesome hammer over its head pose. ^^

Due to its imbalance weight distribution that is causing extra stress on its elbow joint, for display is perhaps the best purpose for Marg Hand and Goldion Hammer on the main figure. ^^ As of now, the elbow joint seems to be completely fine, but I have no intention of damaging it just for action poses, especially when the huge size of Marg Hand makes it difficult to adjust for action poses as well.

Then again, it would totally defeat the hammer's hot-bloodiness if I don't try to replicate GaoGaiGar's finishing move using Goldion Hammer with the two Super Robot Chogokin sets, at least once. ^^

"Hammer connect!"

"Goldion Hammer!"

"Hammer Hell!"

"Hammer Heaven!"

"Hikari ni Nare!~"

Plenty of screaming is needed to supplement the poses above. XD

The first deployment of Goldymarg as Goldion Hammer in Episode 20 of "The King of Braves GaoGaiGar".

Getting everything to line up properly to get the pictures that replicate the whole scene in the most anime-accurate possible fashion wasn't easy at all, since there are large components that require some extra support to stay in their intended positions. For the difficulty in getting the right positions for the Zonder Core, nail, and forearm claw, Hammer Heaven would be the hardest part in the entire sequence to replicate I would say. ^^; Then again, for the significance of the finishing move, it's definitely worthwhile to try out at least once with the two Super Robot Chogokin sets. ^^

Mentioned in the previous posting about equipping Dividing Driver onto GaoGaiGar to achieve a more "balanced" look for it when Marg Hand and Goldion Hammer are also attached to the Super Robot: ^^

Even more space is needed to hold the entire figure now, but it would definitely stand out, very impressively so anywhere it's allocated to. ^^

Comparison with Alteisen from the same action figure series, which was featured in the review of GaoGaiGar itself.

For its significance to GaoGaiGar as seen in the anime, and just the sheer increment in hot-bloodiness when it's used on the main figure, Key of Victory Set 1 is definitely a great option weapon pack to get if you already have GaoGaiGar, or GaoFighGar. ^^ Given the nature of a option pack, the weapons and extra parts are quite useless to have on their own, and GaoGaiGar is good enough as a standalone set that any extra weapon pack is not exactly needed, but Goldion Hammer is just so amazingly awesome it almost feels obligatory to have, not to append on GaoGaiGar's playability, but to complete it. ^^

Also, since I have GaoFighGar as well, this won't be the last time this option weapon pack appear on this blog. While the connection configuration is all the same, Marg Hand and Goldion Hammer is just as important to GaoFighGar as it is to its predecessor, as the hammer was used a couple of time in the Final OVA series, and would be equally interesting to see. ^^
