Hot Toys 1/6 Alice Part 9 [Final]

Weapon & wardrobe combo 2

Another round of action poses featuring Hot Toys' Movie Masterpiece 1/6 Alice from "Resident Evil: Afterlife" after the previous posting to kick off this final part of the review series. ^^

Comparison with Video Game Masterpiece 1/6 Jill Valentine BSAA Ver.:

Both figures have very realistic-looking sculpting and high detailed paint work for their face sculpt. The only difference is Alice has a real-life actress as the figure's reference, while Jill is based off a fictitious video game character. ^^

Their display bases are excatly the same except the base decal and nameplate.

Since they are of the same scale, Alice can of course hold Jill Valentine BSAA Ver.'s weapons, and vice versa. ^^

Alice with Jill's sniper rifle, the Heckler & Koch PSG-1.

Jill with one of Alice's Heckler & Koch MP5K submachine guns and kukri knives.

Jill has her own Heckler & Koch submachine gun actually but it's the slightly larger MP5A3 type. ^^

Since she was mentioned quite a bit in Part 3, here's a comparison between Alice and ZCGirl's 1/6 Sniper Muriel Black Ver.:

I think I really should comb Sniper Muriel's hair again. ^^;

Much of my thought about this figure was already mentioned in Parts 2 and 3 so I'm not going to repeat it here. ^^ The winter coat introduced in Part 6 is an interesting accessory, but it's not exactly outstanding that would change my existing opinion about the figure, so I really don't have to re-evaluate the whole figure again after mentioning about the winter coat. ^^

Although the figure does come with a huge array of weapons, the list is nowhere near "complete" as seen in the movie. I remember seeing Alice showing off her loaded weapon pack to Luther West (played by Boris Kodjoe) in the prison complex. Most of the weapons that Alice was actually carrying in the movie didn't get made for this Hot Toys figure.

The prison complex "Girl's gotta be prepared" scene from "Resident Evil: Afterlife".

Then again, since Alice never used any of those weapons in the movie, which made that particular scene rather weird and unnecessary, I don't mind Hot Toys not including them in this set. ^^

Out of the five movies (so far), the red dress and black leather boots version from the first movie is my favorite design of the character. It's simple but sexy. ^o^ Who doesn't like having a girl in red dress and black boots killing zombies with tons of guns? ^^ This "heavy arms" type (XD) from "Afterlife" would be a close second, followed by the design as seen in the fourth movie, "Retribution" - the "S&M outfit" type, to quote Michelle Rodriguez's character when she first saw it in the movie. ^^

As mentioned back in Part 1, the movies can continue to be really bad, all that matters to me is Milla Jovovich as Alice. ^^

Plus Sienna Guillory as Jill Valentine too. ^^ I really like Jill Valentine. ^^

Even though I have the Battle Suit Ver. of Jill from Hot Toys' Video Game Masterpiece series, seeing Sienna in action in that costume was amazing. ^^ It makes no sense to fight on the Siberian ice plain in that skin-tight outfit, but seeing the character with the zip of her shirt pulled down to her chest level, that fight scene could very well be the most awesome-mest and best-est in the entire franchise. XD

With that said, I'm certainly looking forward to a new design for Alice in the upcoming sixth movie of the franchise and would certainly not mind saving up for a 1/6 scale figure from Hot Toys if the company has plan to release her. ^^

And Sienna Guillory as Jill Valentine too. ^^ I really like Jill Valentine. ^^
